
1998.5-2002 Cummins Race Short Block (PDM-24VRSB)
Description
Industrial Injection Race-spec 5.9L 24V Cummins short block for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500. A fully assembled, sim-tested race short block built on a balanced and blue-printed rotating assembly with Carrillo billet rods, Stage 2 cam, and the 14mm Gorilla Girdle.
The block is machined and blue-printed, balanced Cummins crank, Carrillo billet rods with HD bolts, fly-cut/coated/chamfered pistons with .010 off the top and .100 valve reliefs for high-RPM clearance. The 14mm Gorilla Girdle and ARP main studs lock the bottom end together. Stage 2 race performance cam runs on cam bearings installed in all journals to prevent block wear, and the rotating assembly rides on coated H-series main and rod bearings with billet freeze plugs, billet tappet cover, the Premium Killer Dowel Pin kit, new Cummins tappets, new oil pump, water pump, oil cooler, oil pickup tube, and a Big Iron stamped oil pan.
