2004.5-2005 Duramax Stock Long Block (PDM-LLYSTKLB-E)

Description

Industrial Injection remanufactured stock long block for the 2004.5-2005 LLY 6.6L Duramax. Built from a sim-tested short block paired with a fully loaded set of reconditioned stock cylinder heads — a complete bottom and top end ready for accessory transfer.

The rotating assembly is balanced and blueprinted with new balanced pistons, balanced rods, and a balanced crank (stock damper and flex plate included). A new oil pump, stock oil pickup tube and stock oil pan finish the short block. Heads ship milled and surfaced with heat-treated iron-based valve guides, premium nickel-based seat inserts, new unshrouded valves with a multi-angle valve job, new valve springs, OEM head gaskets and stock head bolts.

• Recommended replacement items (sold separately): oil cooler, injectors, turbo (required if previous engine had a bearing failure or was dusted), water pump (required if previous engine had over 100k miles)
• Initial 300-500 miles must be run on Joe Gibbs Break In Oil (sold separately) — failure to do so voids the warranty
