

1989-1998 Cummins Performance Long Block (PDM-12VSTLB)
Description
Industrial Injection performance long block for 1989-1998 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks running the 5.9L 12V Cummins. A complete bolt-in long block built for owners who want real performance gains and OEM-level reliability — the rotating assembly is balanced and blueprinted, the head is CNC-ported, and every wear part has been replaced with new.
The bottom end runs a balanced factory crank with shot-peened, balanced rods on ARP rod bolts. A 12mm Gorilla Girdle with ARP main studs ties the main caps together, and coated & chamfered pistons sit on H-series coated bearings. A Stage 1 performance camshaft is installed, along with a Big Iron oil pan, premium Killer Dowel Pin kit, new oil pump, water pump, oil cooler, oil pickup tube, and billet freeze plugs.
The head is the performance CNC-ported casting with new stainless valves, diamond-honed guides, milled flat with fire-ring grooves machined for a radius-cut fire ring gasket, 150 lb springs, and ARP 2000 head studs.
Sim-tested as a short block before final assembly. Built to be the foundation of a serious 12V build that doesn't sacrifice driveability.
