Description

Industrial Injection Gorilla Girdle for 1989-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks running the 5.9L Cummins (both 12V and 24V eras). Ties the main caps together with ARP XL main studs to stop main cap walk under high cylinder pressure — required upgrade on big-power builds where stock main bolts are stretching or main caps are working.

The girdle is a billet aluminum plate that bolts across all seven main caps. Distributes load across all caps and dramatically increases main cap stability, especially in builds running 60+ psi boost or making 800+ HP.

• Kit Includes: 1 Gorilla Girdle, 14 top spacers (large hole), 12 bottom spacers (small hole), 1 rear main spacer bar, new oil pan bolts and lock washers, 2 rear main stud nuts (12-point), oil pickup spacer with bolts, 12 main stud nuts (Nylock).
• Before final torque, check the main stud torque — 12mm ARP 2000 spec is 125 ft-lbs.
• Big Iron oil pan (BI591224VOP or BI591224VOPMS) is the typical pairing — the stamped variant has a relief pressed in for the girdle.
